How to Write a Guest Post Pitch
A guest-post pitch should answer three questions quickly: why this publication, why this topic, and why you are equipped to write it.
On this page
Subject line
Be specific enough that the editor knows the topic without opening the message.
Opening
Reference a real aspect of the publication or audience. Do not use fake compliments.
Angle
Describe the article's promise, key points, and what makes it different from existing coverage.
Credibility
Add one or two relevant examples, qualifications, or data sources if they genuinely support the pitch.
Close
Make the next step simple: ask whether the angle fits and offer to adapt it to editorial guidance.
