Guest Posting vs Link Insertion: Which Fits the Campaign?

Guest posts create a new page; link insertions add a link to an existing page. Both can be relevant, but they have different editorial, contextual, and monitoring considerations.

Guest-post strengths

You control a new topic and can build a complete article around the reader's need and a naturally relevant reference.

Link-insertion strengths

An existing page may already have age, visibility, and topical context, and there is no need to publish an entirely new article.

Quality questions

For either format, review the publication, the specific page, surrounding content, link placement, traffic, and whether the addition makes sense to readers.

Choosing

Prefer the format that creates the most natural, useful context. Do not choose solely because one is cheaper or carries a stronger metric.
